Where customers provide a fully free-issued kit, materials are supplied to Icom-Scottech for assembly in accordance with the agreed build pack. On receipt, kits can be checked for completeness, identification, revision status and physical condition against the kit list and associated documentation, enabling timely resolution of shortages or discrepancies. Customer-supplied materials are then issued to work orders under controlled processes to ensure that the correct parts and quantities are presented to production. This model enables customers to retain direct control of sourcing whilst benefiting from Icom-Scottech’s controlled receiving, handling and build discipline.
